Unit Question:How can I be a superhero in my community?
Instructions and Requirements:
Using iMovie, create a movie about you being a superhero in your community.
Create a new wiki page. Name it "iMovie".
Copy and paste this entire page to your wiki.
Use your STYKZ animation, create a new animation, or combine the two together.
Add sound - This includes music and sound effects.
Add transitions.
Add a title at the beginning of your movie, and credits at the end of your movie.
Your movie needs to at least 1 minute long.
When you are finished with your movie, post it on your wikispace. You need to export your movie into a "Tiny" file.
Export your movie to a large file.
Create a DVD of your movie.
You will be graded on Investigate, Create and Attitude. Look at the rubric below!
Investigate: 1. Explain how you can be a superhero to your friends, family, teachers, kids at school: I can be a superhero to my friends, family and kids at school by being a good example. I can be a superhero to my teachers by trying my best and getting good grades. 2. Explain how you can help people in your community? (List at least 5 things you can do to help people.) Clean up, babysit, make cookies, tutor kids, and be a good example. 3. What is my STYKZ animation about? I help a kid get a toy that they can't reach. 4. Does your animation show how you can help people in your community? Yes. 5. Did you need to add on or create a new STYKZ? No.... I don't think so. 6. Explain what your new animations are about? Anyone (including me) can be a superhero in their/my community every day. It only takes a small action to be a superhero. Holdingopen the door, helping somebody learn, or helping somebody carry or reach something. Everyone can be a superhero and it doesn't take a lot of effort.
